The basic element of the system is a mobile application operating on mobile computers (data collectors) whose main task is facilitating the performance of tasks by field employees. Optimized synchronization of data with central server through GPRS/EDGE enables real-time control of task statuses. Additional features of mobile computers, such as bar code reader or CCD camera, enable electronic gathering of data and event registering (e.g. photographic documentation of damaged shipment). The system of GPS geolocalization enables the assignment of location to place of task performance, and touch screen allows customer to confirm the fulfillment of the order by his signature directly on the device.
