Van Pur S.A.

In 2015, we implemented a project of marking storage places in the warehouses of  Van Pur S.A. brewery. in the plants in Łomża and Rakszawa.

The aim of the project was to clearly mark each pallet location within the warehouse and mark the storage places by placing boards with 2D codes above them. The boards are made of a special material that guarantees reading the codes from very long distances – up to 9 m. The applied solution allows the warehouseman to confirm the loading or collection of the pallet from the destination place, even through the window of the forklift truck.

The marking was preceded by a detailed analysis of the place, selection of the solution and size of the boards, testing them and proposing a construction and assembly method. Works from developing the concept to assembly in one location took 4 weeks and were carried out in accordance with the previously approved schedule.

Among the benefits that the client achieved thanks to the labelling of warehouses was the reduction to a minimum of the possibility of confusing storage locations, which has a direct impact on financial results.
